East Central Mail Center Contract Postal Unit
East Central Mail Center is a Contract Postal Unit owned and operated by Axxe Tax & Bookkeeping Service Inc. Otherwise known as a "CPU", a contract postal unit is exactly like a United States Post Office with two exceptions. We do not have Post Office Boxes and we do not sell United States Postal Money Orders. We do however sell Western Union Money Orders and are able to do Western Union Money Transfers to anywhere in the world that Western Union operates.
Our reason for opening East Central Mail Center is to service the community with an extra convenient location in which to mail letters and packages, purchase stamps and package supplies and do regular post office business without having to stand in line at regular Postal locations. We are under contract to sell all Postal products at the same price you would pay at the U.S.P.S. We do not pad our prices. We are independently owned however and this allows us to provide special features not found at your local United States Post Office. We also opened this CPU to bring attention to our tax & accounting services at Axxe Tax & Bookkeeping Services.
Some of our added services include help with packaging your item for shipping. We have boxes and padding material available. Some of these products are used and we provide them free of charge. We also have new boxes and bubble wrap available for a nominal fee. We also carry priority mail and express mail shipping boxes and envelopes free of charge. We are happy to help you order many of these free items to be shipped to your home also. We are happy to serve you and we hope you will stop in and say hello. Handicapped persons can call us at 918-660-2882 and tell us you are coming. Then simply pull up and honk your horn and we will come out to your car and help you without you having to get out and come in.
We have set up this web site to help you order stamps and other postal materials online and we will ship them to your home. Please feel free to make use of this convenient method. We also have pick-up and delivery service for businesses within a 15 mile radius of our location. A simple phone call and your stamps are on the way to be delivered to your door. Our phone and address information can be found on the right side of each of our pages. For the convenience of our Hispanic speaking neighbors Mayra and Yasmina are here Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM. The united States Post Office picks up all of our outgoing mail at 4:00 PM Monday through Saturday.
We are conveniently located directly across 11th Street from East Central High School. This is located between 129th Street and South Garnett Road on old Route 66 which is 11th Street. We are located 1/2 mile from the 11th Street exit off I-44 and 2 miles from the 11th Street exits off Hwy 169 and I-244. Forever stamps mean that the stamp will always be good to use for first class letter mail no matter what the first class rate is adjusted to. Presently the 1st class rate is 44 cents. Even if it goes up in the future these stamps will be adjusted to the
first class rate. This is what makes forever stamps a great value.
